Dr. Dianne Saladino

DVM
Dr. Saladino grew up in the suburbs of Long Island with a passion for working with animals of every shape and size. She and her four siblings were raised with many dogs, and from an early age, her dream was to become a veterinarian. While earning her Associate’s degree in veterinary science at SUNY Farmingdale, she trained canines for the disabled.

Since then, life has taken Dr. Saladino on many different paths. She moved to Arkansas to work in the poultry industry. Her time there included operating Chicken Bristle Farm where she trained and boarded horses and raised cattle, goats, and chickens. It was also a haven for many rescue llamas, dogs, and cats. During this time, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Arkansas (Go Razorbacks!).

Her continued desire to become a veterinarian brought her to Raleigh. At North Carolina State University she earned her veterinary degree (Go Wolfpack!). Happily, Raleigh has become her forever home. Since graduation, she has been practicing as a small animal clinician. Her special interests are in behavior, pain management, senior and palliative care, and all things feline.

Dr. Saladino understands the deep connection people have with their beloved pets. The human- animal bond is precious. She emphasizes this bond and practices ‘wholistic’ medicine. She defines this as incorporating the pet’s behavior, environment, training, pain level, stage of life, and medical status whenever she devises a treatment plan.

Outside of the hospital, she adores spending time with her senior dog, Blueberry, and her many cats. She loves running on trails, riding horses and dancing. She is active in her church, works with seniors, and supports our veterans. The way to her heart is eating out and cooking with friends!

Alyssa Haller

Regional Manager
Hi there! My name is Alyssa Haller, and I am currently the Regional Manager for Walnut Street Animal Hospital, Capital Blvd Animal Hospital, and Best Care Animal Hospital. I have been working with this company since 2017. I started out as a volunteer, then slowly worked my way up to become the Regional Manager. I have always had a passion for medicine and was raised with animals, so I figured becoming a veterinarian was the route for me. As I worked with this company over the past few years, though, I have taken more of a liking toward the management side of the veterinary field. I very much love where I work, the team I am lucky to work with, and the community we strive to provide care for. I am also in school to further my education in the management field, so if I am not in the office I am most likely working on school assignments. I also enjoy painting and spending time with family, friends, or my new fur baby, Jax, who I adopted through one of Capital’s Spay/Neuter clinics.

Michael Glasscock

Vet Tech
My name is Michael, and I’ve been with Capital Blvd Animal Hospital since September of 2019. I started out working with our sister location in Matthews, Best Care Animal Hospital, but recently transferred to Capital so that I can be closer to family. I have a 9-year-old, red nose pit bull/lab/boxer mix at home, and my wife and I are waiting for our baby girl, Lainey, to come into the world on July 26th of this year. My hobbies include basketball, going to the beach, wakeboarding, and spending time with my family in Virginia.

Kimberly Eno

Vet Tech
Kimberly grew up in Vermont with animals always being a part of her life. Growing up, she fed the local calves, volunteered at the local kennel and stables, took lessons with the horses, and was a part of 4H. She also helped rescue several kittens and stray cats from her local neighborhood that was a drop off point for unwanted pets. She worked with the spay/neuter clinic to help the strays get fixed up with vaccines and spay/neuters. They then would release them to barns looking for mouse hunters or furever homes. She's also spent her time pet sitting and taking various animal related classes, such as a veterinary technician introduction course. She spent two years doing dog grooming before joining our team in October 2019. She's always had a love for animals and loves being a part of the veterinary field. She currently lives in Angier with her boyfriend, Chris and their 3 cats - Milo, Mason, and Lola - and their 2 dogs - Prince and Daisy.
